(The
Olive grove traditional big rambling house)
"El Olivar" (The Olive grove) is constituted by
a group
of constructions [see
plan and photos clicking over the plans]originated
from an old XVI century former big house, built in the highest
point of what today is the old Santa Lucía Village.
It faces South, overlooking a wonerfull panoramic wiew.
Its
hefty materials, firebrand carpentry, palm roofs, and stone
floor, have allowed its conservation during centuries. Its
thick stone walls and mud, maintain the house fresh in summer
and tempered in winter
The
restoration works and rehabilitation of the residential
group was finishd in 2001 year, conserving their architecture
and traditional furniture and endowing it of modern services
and comforts.
In this group there are four indepedent dweelings:

The patio of the "Casona" (big house),
100 m2 about, communicates to other dependences of the house,
such as:
. - the former horses stable, now a day
reading, music and games, living room.
. - former old kitchen, now a day laundry and cleaning room.
. - former old backer's oven, old
horseshoe forge.
. - terraces, where from you can enjoys a wide and wonderfull
panoramic
wiew.
. - Orchard
and graden, about 300m2, cactus and succulents plants,
