Enrique González and Alicia Aramendía,an established "Santa Lucía Rural" company, supporting and encouraging various ideas for the rural development of the village of Santa Lucia.

We manage the rural houses called "El Olivar" (The Olive Grove), with authorisation dated September 10, 2001, granted by the "Patronato de Turismo" (Board of Tourism) of the Excmo. Cabildo Insular (High Island Council) of Gran Canaria) and the rural house called "Palmeral del Valle" (Palms Trees of the Valley), with authorisation dated November 27, 2001, granted bv the "Patronato de Turismo" (Board of Tourism) of the Excmo.

The enterprise is associated with GPANTURAL, cooperative entity made up of rural house proprietor of the island of Great Canaria which fulfil the standards of quality required.

Santa Lucía Rural manages their rural houses integrated in natural and cultural environment, following the theory and methology of ICAIDES (Canarian Social and Development Research Institute).

We try to offer our visitors an experience of coexistence with the rural world, having the pleasure of enjoying natural landscapes, local products (fruit picking, vegetables, cheeses, etc.), and peoples habits and traditions.
