Grand Gold Medal – AGROCANARIAS 2019 for La Era del Cardón cheese factory

We are happy to send the cheese that we put in our rural houses manufactured by La Era del Cardón, we received the Grand Gold Medal of the AGROCANARIAS 2019 Contest.

Congratulations to La Era del Cardón cheese factory for this splendid award in recognition of their work, dedication and quality.

The Agüimense Cheese Factory “La Era del Cardón” has won the Grand Gold Medal in the category of cheeses, cured raw milk of goat (cured cheese smeared with oil, gofio and paprika) in the Official Agrocanarias Contest 2019, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture , Livestock, Fisheries and Waters of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Institute of Food Quality (ICCA).

The “La Era del Cardón” cheese factory garnered in recent years great recognition for its work: Awarded with a bronze medal in the “World Cheese Awards 2018”, two first prizes in the Official Cheese Contest of Gran Canaria 2018, 1st Prize of Soft Cheese and 1st Prize for Various Cheeses in the semi-cured goat modality, among others.
